Hai Zhi Bi An (海之彼岸) is a collaboration between Shu Shui and several other artists from the Chinese Hetalia fandom. It details the story of Kiku and Yao, their relationship framed by the Battle of Yashan.
Shu Shui is most notable as a member of the hanfu movement and the (former) national dress of Han Chinese is prominently displayed in this doujin. In fact you can find her one other work which has been translated into English under “Memories of a Homeland Ming” which explains the goals of the hanfu movement.
Warnings: There’s a (consensual) sex scene in this doujin, and some violence (attempted rape, bloodshed, etc) in the main storyline. Some historical inaccuracy - the artists are patriotic Chinese so some things might seem a little off. Historical events are compressed for space =w=

By the way, I’m looking for a translator for this. Does anyone know how to read Traditional characters (the author is Taiwanese)?
